Childhood cancer treatment fund

World Child Cancer's Ghana Programme, running since 2010, works to close the survival gap for children with cancer — over 80% survive in wealthy countries, but as few as 20% do in low-income ones, often because treatment is caught late or families cannot afford it. It partners with Korle Bu, Komfo Anokye and Greater Accra Regional hospitals plus six shared-care facilities, covering the cost of drugs and care, training local medics and supporting families through treatment. Treating one child can cost around $700. This is the charity's own programme; contributions help more Ghanaian children finish treatment.
