Stage 4 throat cancer, post-laryngectomy recovery

Rashid was diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer in August 2021; by November 2022 it had progressed to stage 4. He underwent 12 weeks of radiation and a total laryngectomy on 1 May 2023, losing his voice but not his role as a devoted father to his two sons. This is his own real, ongoing appeal, organised by his fiancée Amina Cliette - goal $15,000 (~GHS 232,500) to cover surgery costs, feeding-tube nutrition and ongoing care.
