Children's heart surgery fund
HighAt Ghana's National Cardiothoracic Centre in Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, children born with congenital heart defects such as a “hole in the heart” wait for surgery that costs between $6,000 and $13,000 — far beyond what most families can afford. Charitable partners including the Children's Heart Foundation Ghana have helped more than 250 children receive life-saving operations, but dozens more remain on the waiting list, where every delay raises the risk to their lives. This fund supports those surgeries; contributions help clear the backlog of waiting children.
