Nana
HighCerebral palsy, microcephaly & epilepsy - hip, spine & brain surgery needed
Nana, 20, is non-ambulatory and wheelchair-dependent, living with cerebral palsy, microcephaly, epilepsy and severe muscle stiffness since a premature birth. After years of therapy in Ghana without success, her doctors say complex hip, spine and brain surgery, unavailable in Ghana, is her best chance at more independence. Her mother Akua, a widow, is her full-time caregiver. This is Nana's own real, ongoing appeal, organised by her aunt Adwoa Oni - goal $100,000 (~GHS 1,550,000).

Funds support Nana's hip, spine & brain surgery abroad, since the procedures she needs aren't available in Ghana.
