Dialysis support fund
HighThe Adomah Kidney Care Foundation, founded by kidney-disease survivor Nana Abena Adomah, helps Ghanaians living with kidney failure meet the crushing cost of treatment. An estimated 700 to 1,000 patients in Ghana depend on chronic dialysis — sessions two or three times a week that most families cannot sustain — and many in rural areas have no access at all. The Foundation provides financial assistance for dialysis and transplant costs, runs community screenings and raises awareness. This is the Foundation's own programme; contributions help keep patients on life-sustaining dialysis.
